Words over a picture
The heading and the action sit on top of a picture. Joins the message and the mood in one view.
Good for: Openings of places, events and campaigns.
Weak for: Reading: text over a photo often lacks contrast, and the crop changes per width.
Keep the words in a safe area; on phones they often move below the picture.
The look, in Stylogeny
- Collage & layering: Overlapping fragments, cut-outs and stacked planes.
- Full bleed: Image or colour runs off every edge; no protective margins.
